Max Im about to start building a full tube chassis and want to build all of the front suspension as well. What is a good book to buy that would help me with figuring out the front end geometry? Im thinking of using Yota spindles. Do you reccommend any thing else?

i dont know if this would even work, but what about buying a toyota clip, and solid mounting everything to the table, arms and all, then remove the clip and start building. that way at the very least your arms are where they should be exactly.

he's going to recommend reading chassis engineering by herb adams.........and reading it a LOT

i used toyota spindles on my 4runner chassis....i went ahead and used fords idea for geometry and that is lining up all th pivots point for the front suspension.....you can draw a line through the pivots of LCA, steering tie rods,& UCA......it is the same principle used on the mustang II suspension but you get the benefit of a taller spindle from toyota...plus i am abe to use a rack and pinion...my choice was a t-bird....and for uppers i went with afco nascar arms and i made my lowers

He's also suggested Tune to Win by Carroll Smith, another very good book.

Thanks guys. You think BARNES AND NOBLES has/or can get them?

I looked there with no luck. But may be different by the area. I got mine on Amazon. Got like 3 books for under $80.
