Pearl over black

Ok cant find any flake over black paint pics does anyone have any good pics or ideas about diff. color pearls over black paint.? thanks for any help peeps.

if its painted right you wont see it in a pic. youll have to see it in person. my bug is black with a blue pearl and you can only see it in person

is the pic of the bed flake or pearl?? looks more like flake...

I want to keep the black paint just want it to stand out a little with no graphics.. Any ideas would be great too guys.

It's definetly a pearl, there are many different kinds of pearls and some "pop" more than others but still retain a pearlecent glow only when the sun light em' up......mabye look for some crystal or ice pearls if you want more pop (like the that pic)

I personaly would go with a pearl, simply because flake is a bitch to burry (unless you have a flake buster)

almost any color pearl will be good over black, but when spraying remember that less is more! you likely won't be able to see the effect of one or two coats of pearl until it's in the sun, so DONT keep coating till you see it inside or you'll likely be unhappy with the result...

here's my blue pearl over black flames... and this was just one coat around the outline and an extra coat on certain parts for accent with an airbrush if i remember right... doesn't take much to have an effect.

HERES MY YOTA FROM 97 its black with a ton af blue pearl and in the sun it was blue but in the shade or at night it was jet black

Painted HOK Violet Ice Pearl over a black base on some Harley tins not to long ago. The Ice Pearls are sick! Real subtle till you get em in the sun. I'll try to dig up some pics.
