I just picked up a 96 grand cherokee 2WD for dam near nothing and want to bag and body drop it, i want it to lay out completely on 22's if possible. How do I go about that since its a unibody? please help, i know it can be done i see a couple box cherokee's on here that were laid out...

simple, cut it to make it lay where you want it, then rebuild the frame/unibody where you cut it.

you can weld in notches into the factory frame, just make sure you box in the factory frame and secure it well to the new frame section.

it really is not hard if you have the ability to do it.

If it were me, I think that I would hang the body over a chassis and not screw with the uni-body mess. I can be done sucessfully, it just makes for other problems.

James is right tho, just cut out what you need to and reinforce it all back in.
