Anybody know this truck?

Going to look at this Saturday morning. Truck is from NC and the guy doesn't know much about it. Just wondering if anyone here knows anything about it. It is an 89 with a 454/th400.

Do you guys think it's worth $2500?

i was just bout to say noooo. its a twin of a truck here in ohio thats been getting passed around with bad trans. but the windows arent tinted and few other lil details. if it checks out do it man

Funny you say that. The guy said it had a bad shift solenoid when he got it and has had it replaced. Also mentioned it had dark windows. But he claims the truck is from NC. It is located about 80 mile from you at the moment.

i just talked to my buddy who almost bought it not to long ago..he confirmed it. it is same truck. a local guy here who runs a muffler shop bought it or aquired it last summer ish time. he tinted windows at my friends cuz shop. the trans was acting up so he dumped it off .i believe around fall he got rid of it. and here it is

It's in Mayville, NY at a dealer. He says he has repaired the trans but still a little weary about it. It's an hour and 20 minute drive for me to look at it. Hate to drive that far and be disappointed.

Whats the mileage on it? If its what you want, then I'd say its worth it. FWIW, I paid $3500 for mine. If you plan on driving it regularly, I wouldn't worry about the trans too much. You'll be looking at overdrive transmissions. I know I am...
