I was just wondering if getting the 10" notch would be better for in the long run or if I'm good with the 8". I have a 92 Isuzu pup and was wondering. I wanna be able to lay her down as close to the ground as I can with out body dropping it. Just wondering since I already got the 8" notch just not welded up yet. Plus I'm wanting 20's in the near future and was wondering if the notch takes part in getting it lower on 20's.

umm no. Go with a tape measure. The more thought process the better.

X2 YOU DONT NEED A HUGE NOTCH UNLESS YOU PLAM ON RNNING UR BAGS ON THE TOP OF THE AXLE. IT LOOKS ALOT BETTER AND SAVES BED ROOM WITH A SMALLER NOTCH

i ran a big notch. we decided to run my bags over axle because of room needed for the tilt bed rack...

yes, measure it. find the tire size you want to run on the 20s. find the diameter of those tires, measure from the ground to the frame and figure out how big the notch has got to be. measure 25 times weld once. or you might be cutting that notch off when you get the 20s. which sucks, all the guys on here who have fixed some hacks knows how crappy it is to remove a notch that was never supposed to move again.
