flex pipe

has anyone ever had a problem with that flex pipe crap on a s10 its right behind the exhaust manifold.

on a 94 and up body style? yea mine is starting to leak. that pipe isnt that expensive and you could even take it off and cut the flex off and weld a new on in very cheap.

Yep. I just had to replace mine. Autozone sells the whole section for $67.99. You can also buy just the flex pipe and flange on Ebay for $50.
I got mine from ebay since I had to section the pipe anyway to get it above the framerails.

yeah just called autozone and they have one in stock. but i forgot to ask about a gasket. do yall think i will need to get a gasket for it or not?

Yeah, you will need a gasket. The new one I got didn't look like the one I took off. It was just a lead ring. The one I took off was copper in the shape of the flange. But it worked great.
