Ok, I know a bunch of you out there have towrigs with gooseneck trailers. So here goes. My boy bought a 08 Dodge 2500 when we got back from Iraq. He wants to be able to haul his girlfriend's horsetrailer. It's the Ball type, not the kingpin type like I'm used to. He's wanting something that hides away when not in use. But wants a clean install. Anyone know of any kits or suggestions? Pics would be a plus!!!!!!!

It is a hide a hitch that mounts under the bed. I have one on my truck and works great and disappears when not in use. Maybe others can help on name brands but any towing place should be able to help also.

I would say a 3/4 ton truck but it depends on how big the trailer is. The bigger and heavier the trailer and what your hauling the biger the truck you want. I pull a two place gooseneck with my 97 3/4 ton and it does fine but it is a really nice trailer. there is a pic in my profile

We have been using a pop-up hitch since 2000 and it works wonders. Love the way you just pull the pin and it drops into the bed so you can still put a sheet of plywood in the back.
