so i made my own four link. i wasnt to happy with the side to side so i decided to put heims on my parallel bars. on the end that connects to the axle. the tubing i used is 1.5 x 2.5 box tubing. on the end that connects to my bridge i just made a rod end of some dom tubing. and welded it to the box tubing. so that end is not adjustable. my question is i want to run my bags on my bars. will my bar twist with the heim joints. casuing my bag to bow. any infro would help. hope i explaned it well enough

If your bag is centered correctly you should not have any problems

Just keep the lower bag mount as low on the bar as possible. I have seen some people that build tall lower bag mounts, but it's not a good idea. You want the bag as close to the centerline of the bar as possible.

Make sense?

i think so. so basically for the lowers make short brackets? like 1.25 inches tall is what i was thinking. just enough to fit the bolt in. and to keep the bag on center of the bar correct???

i just sleeved my lower bars for the bolt to go through them and then welded a circle plate on top. that way i didn't have to make a bracket for them really.
