head shaving products

now i know there are tons of minitruckers with shaved heads and i want to start but i was wondering if there were razors and gels that are better for head hair removal. plus i have a mole off to one side and i would like to avoid accidental removal

shave ur head with hair clippers as close as u can get it first. closest would be with no guard. the couple of times ive shaved my head smooth with a razor ive done it in the shower. i just lather my head up and start shaving and continue till its all smooth. i can tellcuz of the sound of the razor and feel of my head when its done. then ill check in the mirror to get any missed spots. ive only shaved it smooth twice cuz i seem to look like a professional wrestler or something when i do. id like to stay away from that look if possible. haha

like russel said, first, get your hair short as possible with clippers. if not your razor is gonna back up and youll have to do like an inch at a time and rinse your razor out. all i use is a nice razor(3-4 blade or more i suppose) and regular shaving gel/cream. i lather up my head. razor movement......... front to back on the top and sides. then i go from bottom to top in the back. after that i relather and on the top and sides i go up from the side to the middle of my head on both sides. then for the back i go across starting in the middle. then i put a little cream on my hand and feel around for rough spots and tackle those.

OH AND THE MOLE..........PUT YOUR FINGER ON IT AND SHAVE AROUND IT, THEN WHEN YOUR ALL DONE USE YOUR ELECTRIC RAZOR FOR THAT SPOT. LOL I HAVE A MOLE AND I LEARNED THE HARD WAY BUT THIS IS WHAT DO AND IT WORKS.

yup, i've been shaving my head for 17 years, i can count on both hands how many times i've cut myself. Unfortunately, the last (and worst) time was at all star, so lucky, russ, michael, and gavin got to see the huge gash on my head. Yall can laugh, but i use the bikini zone shave gel for chicks. It goes on real thin and clear so i don't have a huge mess when i get done, and i can see where i shaved. I use a gillett mach 3 turbo. I'd definitely reccommend clippers if your hair's longer, but if you want to keep it shaved, i suggest every 3rd day. I used to shave with clippers then razor every 2 weeks, but i looked scummy after about the 4th day, and shaving every 3rd day eliminates the need for clippers.

shit i dont have a problem using chick gel i figured i would get suggestions for it anyway. and thanks for all the input i guess all i have to do now is get up the nerve to lose the 5lbs of shag on my head now

i used my girls razor at first then used some hot wax to make sure i got all the hair off............hurt but worth the time saved of having to re-shave it so often.

I use regular shave gel on mine and a Shick extreme 3 disposable razor. The head on the Shick is flexable so it will conform to the shape of your head better. You will be surprised at how good you get at shaving it after a while, takes me a few minutes without missing anything. Make sure you do it right after you get out of the shower, it works alot better. I do mine every 2 days or it gets too long for me to take.
