Sure this thread has been posted many times, but dont wanna look for em.

Which compressors do you guys use?

Ive been leaning to get the viair 480 dual pack, but others have said they prefer the 380 dual pack. Or should i just go balls out and get a couple of az comps? Give me your input por favor

I usually run the 480's.

I know AZ has a bad rep, but Ive been hearing the new comps are pretty good plus the warranty. Theyre also faster.

But dependability and price I like the 480s. Thats what Im runnin I like em. One of em took a dump on my last week but got it swapped out for free.

The builder of my truck suggests that i use nitrogen, but for daily use, id like to run comps for obvious reasons. Didnt know that az had a bad rep. Do you run both 480's at the same time to fill up your tanks?

im runnin two 480's everyday at 200 psi with no problems to two 7 gallon tanks and its fast enough for me

Engine driven > electric..... but if you want electric.... 480s > 380s > AZs

i run one 380 viair on a 3 gallon tank and it fills up quick

I used to run only nitro which i kinda miss but I run one AZ and a 5 gallon and have had no problems so far granted the truck harldy ever gets driven.

I'm running the trusty old Viair 450c 2 pack with a 6 gallon tank. Works just fine for me. I've actually been running them at 175psi for over a year w/o problems. Just always remember to empty the water trap.
