I just bought a 2005 chevy silverado LS on 22s, I don't want to bag it yet, but I do want to lower it as low as possible on 22s.

I'm looking for what tire size I would look at, and what is the lowest drop kit I could use.

any help is appreciated.

4/6 on a 35 series tire?

4/6 drops are sic, I want the truck as low as i can get it on these 22s.

anyone have any pics i could check out, all the pics i have are trucks bagged out.

yeah, i definitely would'nt go lower than 35 series, anything shorter and you get to start avoiding blades of grass on the road, lol. Well, maybe not, but my wheels have been discontinued, and finding the ones i have was like pulling teeth, so i'm not taking any chances.

ok, ordered the tires, can some one help me with the offset of the wheels?

i want chrome wheels, not billet wheels.

but what size do i get? 22x9 is what im thinking, but dont know what offset to get.

im assuming chevy's offset hasnt changed but my bros 99 requires a +35 to tuck i believe. if i remember right a +15 will tuck under the front but not the back. hope this gets you goin in the right direction a little bit. good luck

anyone know if the rim has to be a 22x9 or a 22x8.5?

an offset will help.
