I just wanted to throw up some shots of my project, "DWNTIME". It's a 2006 GMC Canyon Crewcab. I'm not the builder, in fact I haven't welded any metal or turned any wrenches. I wish I had the skills, tools, and time to do it, but since I don't I took it to one of the best guys in the area that knows how. John Shepherd of Shepherd Chassis is responsible for the amazing work done to this truck.
The frame is completely custom from the firewall back, painted Chrysler 300 "Dark Titanium Metallic" by Travis of Rehab Custom Paint. I'm sitting on 22" KMC Haze wheels all the way around. Using slam bags and 3/8" Asco manifold valves.
These are just frame pictures as the body is not on yet, but should be on in the next 2-3 weeks. The body has been with the guys from Deranged Rides East Coast and they have been kicking ass on it. Much props to Ian and Bert! I'm going to go out on a serious limb and say that I will have one major body modification that NO ONE ELSE has ever performed. I've been to shows all over the country, and I have never seen it done. Never in any magazine or DVD... AND it looks good. It's not like freaking spinning doors or anything crazy, its something people will actually appreciate.
On to the pics. (Thank you Justin from DMann Productions for getting pics while I was working the show)
I apologize if you guys have questions about the setup that I'm not able to answer, I don't build trucks, I just sign checks. If you think that makes me any less of a mini-trucker, I'll have to disagree...
