Any of you guys have a line on a cowl hood that is wider than the normal ones.

Seems for the most part cowls on 92's are about 24 inches wide, After taking measurements I need one 32 inches wide.
Not looking for anything crazy high just a 2 1/2" or 3". Might not even have to be a cowl... I'm flexible.

More than likely it'll have to be fiberglass too so I can get the underhood clearance. I need the extra width because of the airhorn on my 12 valve and the height due to the bodydrop.

Hoping to find something that bolts on to save me from making a hood or doing a complete front end swap.

No, I was afraid I was going to need a cowl hood but I think I managed to keep everything under mine. Back in the day I made hood sides and slit a hood for my S-10. I pealed the center of the hood up and welded in the sides. You could do that and make it any width you want.

I thought about going that route and I thought about buying a hood off a newer hd chevy and molding it into my existing hood.

Not really sure which I'd like better. Hate to do a cowl cause they're pretty common but not sure what the hd hood skin would look like molded into a factory 92 hood.

Least I'm a bodyman by trade
