I don't have any pics, but I've seen them running a "coil uner" where the spring is. I often wondered about putting a smaller cylinder (4-6") at the pivot point of the beam itself.

If you were to put a smaller cylinder more inbound on the beam, it would put a lot of stress on the bushing. My thought of using a smaller cylinder would be to build a new radius arm with a nice big and strong heim joint at a newly constructed radius arm pivot. Put the cylinder closer to that pivot. Then you could weld a 1 3/4" tube through the frame (vertically) and insert the cylinder through that. Basically it would end up being just in front of the firewall. You could run accumulators on it, and not use springs. That's how I would do it.

if i were to do it i would wanna run accumulators and not springs to.. much cleaner and im not look in for a hopper.. just 2 pump 4 dump real slow.. lol i want pictures tho!!
