your opinion

i dropped my truck off at the body shop in late august with very little body work to do, the guy shares a shop with a very good friend of mine. so keep that in mind when i ask your opinion. i understand i have been a little indecisive when it comes to the paint and i kind of gave the painter free reign with very few guidelines but, its been almost 2 months now and all the body work is done but its still waiting for paint. should i either A give the painter a good kick in the teeth B a little money and take the truck or C tell him to cut the shit and give hime a very soon deadline... and then a kick in the teeth. by the way i was very inmpressed with the bodywork, i didn't think it needed much but now its straighter than it was from the factory, so he is good at what he does. just slow

He probobly doesnt like the idea if taking on the load of desighning your truck. draw up a plan, and give it to him, you'll get what you want and he will be relieved.

Just like Shawn (dragggn) said, if you leave him with the decisions, he'll stress over what he thinks is cool compared to what he has to assume you may think is cool. Leaving someone with "free reign" can sometimes be much more of a burden than if you were to be completely anal about what you want.

Besides, if you dropped it off late August then it's barely been one month. Not 2.

body and paint work takes time....And if yours is a side buddy job cant expect it to be put in front of the good jobs coming through. A month sounds very reasonable at this point. Is it sitting there in primer?? Or is he still in the priming/blocking/priming/blocking stage because that usually takes alot of time as well? My opinion is if the guy does good work and u are happy with the work so far just be patient
