minitrucker moving

me and my family are thinking of moving away from sunny f-lo-rida and heading to north/south carolina ....looking for cities that have #1 good schools for my daughter #2 avail jobs #3 reasonable real estate and #4 MINITRUCKERS!!!!! my town is dried out and dead and we want a change in scenery ...ive never been any where that dont touch florida so any imput on good clean cities. neighborhoods, or people hiring maybe in the truck/car field would be great ....will be leaving everything and starting fresh so we want to know where to start looking for places for rent (nice clean and not to much dough) everything in florida is too much money for too little ......thanks

i live in charleston south carolina and i like it. ive lived there all my life and probably will never move. our schools are o.k., and our houses are probably alot cheaper than in florida.
and the minitruckin scene around here is pretty good.

i had a nice post here last nite and my computer shut off anderson sc is a quiet little redneck mountain town 2 hrs from atl and 2hrs from charlotte.
