Viair problem

A friend of mine is having a problem. He takes the steel braided line off the compressor and he feels little air coming out of the compressor. Any idea of what could be wrong or what he can do?

rebuild time!?

yea sound like a rebuld is needed how old is the compressor. have you checked the filter. Is it plugged up?

had 4 of em an they all did the same thing but that was along time ago and they did not offer a kit to rebuild then im not sure if they do now or not when i was running air i liked aim compressor like a dc 5000 but then i moved on to juice

Viair compressors are rebuildable (well most) I say that cuz we only offer a few different rebuilds for these. What size is it?

Can you blow air both ways through the steel braded house? If so the crappy viair check valve has failed, and all this time that it has been bad the compressor has been working harder to push air, leading to premature failer. Damn those check valves, damn them.
