I'm installing a wishbone in my friend's '90 Isuzu, and am having a problem. I am setting the wishbone portion of the 4-link at the axle instead of the crossmember above the driveshaft. I have adjusted the upper and lower bars to the same measurements. the brackets for both the upper and lower bars are set to the same pivot point. when I secure the bottom brackets into place (centered to the axle)the bracket for the top bars is no longer centered to the pumpkin, and pushes to the back of the truck. since i am setting the 4-link to ride height, could this issue create a binding with the axle when we lay it out? why would the top bar push back from it's initial setting? nothing is welded in place at this time. I really want to make sure that everything will function properly, so any advice that you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
