I am thinking about suiciding the rear doors on my wagon but need some help. The rear wheel tubs come into the door like most sedans and wagons. Anybody done suicide doors on a car like this before? How did you do it and post pics please! There is no room to to space two hinges on the door so I was thinking just stack both hinges at the top of the door. Any Help?

If its bagged there is no way with reg suicide hinges. Ive done several Caprice and Impalas and stacked the hinges. Once they are in there theres no room for a tire to come up and the car lay out tho. Oh and on this one the owner wanted them to swing up which caused some probs with door to quarter clearance but the ones we have done level there are no issues as long as hinges are placed properly.

Thanks KEEF! How deep are the pockets for the hinges? I moved my axle back and have some room in the tub but not much.

Someone was offering a 1-piece hinge setup that was pretty trick- it looked lower-profile than standard hinges, which may help you out...

I'll see if I can find out who it was.

That was easy- http://www.streetdreamsbyross.com/hinges_suicide.php

Good luck!

Here's some pics of a set we did on a charger. we used the streetdreamsbyross hinges. they're a bit pricy, but they look and work great with the added bonus of them being hollow so you can run your wiring through them.
