Interested in using a stock tank that has been shortened. We have been kicking around an idea about offering stock tanks that has been shortened to be able to be drag proof. Who is interested. I want to hear both sides. and whatever comments you have to offer.

Thanks sean

Would they be cheaper than a raised crossmember? And do we send a core, or flat out buy it? Brand new tanks or cleaned up old ones?

price would be a question, ive been offering up one off fuel cells to customer spec for around 250, so it would have to be a more affordable option, are they new tanks that you guys cut up, or old tanks that have nbeen turned in for core, with possible rot, cracks etc. if youcan make em cheap enough and new, i think its a good option for people who are staying mostly mild with just a bag system, but anything past that, guys dont want their tank in the stock location neways. good luck, let us now how it goes.

Well the cost is still in process, But they would be cheaper than our cells. You would not have to send a core. You cannot ship a gas tank thru ups unless it has been cleaned out for a while. These tanks will be 100% new ones. I understand and also witnessed a few trucks that have the raised crossmembers and yet still have tanks lower than the frames. So it might also be an addition plus good faith to purchase a crossmember to use also.

Well we offer the cells through alot of our dealers too. So this would be an addition to our line of tanks.

I understand that some tanks will not be available. We will do some research on maybe an older year and newer style sending unit ring (something like we use on our cells). If we cannot get new tanks (steel) to fit in where an abs one would go then we would have to look at alternative options.
