Max yet another question I would like some professional assisstance on...
I've got ahold a 1984 Dodge Rampage and the stupid little truck is fwd and its going to get laid out.. Can I just build a bridge type deal across the engine bay, braced out to the body in a few places and run the upper bag plates off of it and the lower bag mounts off the uca's thanks again max

edit also its got a solid rear axle with leafs and I know that reverse 4 liks and such are not good, but since there isnt any drive train parts is it okay to do in this instance and it'd actually be a 2 link and wish bone because I have them laying around so its free :-)

a 2link ans wishbone wont work. all ends have to pivot. your axle would be stuck in whatever position you set it up at.

Thats funny. I saw a Rampage driving around wednesday and was thinking about what one would look like laid out.

there is a guy on the forums that has one thats bodied and chop topped... why wouldnt the 2 link and wish bone work they work in the forward position why wouldnt they work in the reverse position wont have a lot of articulation but im not really worried about it

i cant see why a wishbone wouldnt work. set it up like a normal forward would go and it should work fine.

a 2-link that is solidly mounted to the axle will bind if a wishbone is added.

2links dont always have to be solidly mounted to the axle...

I think that the 2-link and the wishbone will end up being a wishbone 3-link. Right?

Without seeing the vehicle, it's too hard for me to say what would be the best way to bag it. Is there any way that you can post some pics?

If it is a "two link" It will only attach to the axel at two points. In this case it will have to be solid mounted or the axel will fall over. If you want to do a wishbone three link, then you will have two lower points of conection and one upper part of conection on the axel "Three Link"

This should sound informative and not negative at all. If it is negative, please remove it.

I don't feel that you are being negative at all. It looks to me that you are trying to clarify.

You're good
