i have a 86 s10 which i am replacing the cab on due to rust on the stock one. the cab i got some of the nuts in the floor of the cab broke loose and just spin freely so we had to hot knife off the bolt heads for removal.

i am getting energy susp body mounts and need to know whats the best way to remove the loose nut? drill through the floor and remove them of weld them back in place and try to get the old bolts out? any ideas would be great.

Drilling is what I do on mazdas when the hardware is siezed. It takes a bit but it works. just drill pprogressivly larger holes until you reach the desired size, its easier this way. Good luck!
