i need some prestolite solenoid blocks and i cant find them anywhere anymore. i used to buy them from reds hydros or prohopper but no one list them anymore on the websites. anyone know where to get them?

You can't find them anymore because they are likely phased out. They fail pretty easily. Go with regular solenoids, they'll last much longer.

check with cool cars in louisville. they were an exclusive dealer for prestolite for a while, not sure if they still are.

hate to say it but they are junk, well i know the cce ones are. i bought 3 to replace my accu??? forgot the name, but either way i bought 3 so i would have a extra one. well one decited i wanted to work one time and that was it. it was a good thing i got 3. i had them on there for 2 months and didnt drive it much and sold the car. they are easier to install but not worth it.

I've heard nothing but bad things about solenoid blocks.

Go to AutoZone. Tell them you want part #F496. $10 a piece
