Crystal Clear Flake.......

Has anyone ever used or heard of it

I just orderd a full POUND of it, to spray on a mustang I'm painting..........
It's going over black and should sparkle like crazy without effecting the solid black base (so I was told )

"Old School Flake" makes it and I was just curious to see if anyone else has seen, or used it before?

it depends on how much flake you use if it affects the base or not but you already know that brian, i guess you coud look at it this way. you know if you use to much white pearl it turns yellow in a way, so if you use to much of that flake it might take away from the black base but you never know til you clear it and look at it and say damn that looks good or damn that looks like sh*t.

Ive used HOK's version that is already mixed in their black base(Black diamond) and it worked good car still looked black till light hit it then it looks like sparkly black Not sure what a pound of straight flake on top of black will do as far as affecting it tho man. Thinking about it it shouldnt affect it being clear tho.

Yeah I'm sure it will most definetly change the base color with enough flake,.....I'm sure of that

I'm not going to COMPLETELY cover the surface, just give it a real good sparkle.....
