well i just got my truck back together and have been driving back and forth to work. its a 45 min drive each way. in that time the bag leaks down about 20psi. i know its not bad but it was still bothering me. so i got out the soapy water in a bottle and started squirtin. everything is good except the bolt. wtf? not a likely spot to leak. it bubbles good around the bolt. has this happened to anyone else. can i get away with sealing the bolt with silicone when its tightened down or do i have to replace it?

I'd send it back. Should be covered under warranty...Jeff

i have seen that alot with firestone, but never with a slam. On firestones the threads are actually a seperate piece, but I thought slams were all machined...hmm that is weird.

I had re7s in the front of my truck and they leaked out in like 45 min. i resealed the fittings like five times. finally we sent them to slam and they tested them and gave me two new ones. you should send them in and have them tested.

over torqueing the bolt will cause this.
