I need to get my truck aligned but the only shop in my area that can fit it on their rack cant do it with 24's, so I was planning on putting stock wheels on it but they dont clear the calipers using 3/4 ton hubs. What can I do? My appt is tomorrow and I need to drive it to tennessee next tues for vacation. I dont want to drive 2000 miles with the alignment off and ruin my tires

That really sucks to hear no one close can do an alignment.

I had wondered if the SRW hubs would work with stock size rims but you answered that. Have you tried to find a size in between? Maybe someone here can chime in on the smallest rim that WILL fit with your hubs and you might be able to find someone local to you that may have that size you could borrow. I wish I could help more.

Good luck

How about throwing some SRW 8 lug wheels stock rims on it in the front and stock dually rims out back.....the SRW wheels up front shouldn't matter since it bolts to the hub the same.....might have to pull the front fenders for them to clear but luckily alignments aaren't needed frequently

I am at the alignment shop now waiting to see if they will clamp onto the 24's or not. I thought about the srw wheels but dont know anyone with some to try and also dont know of anyone with smaller dually wheels besides 16's. Not much up here in northern michigan. I have a 07 silverado srw but believe the bolt pattern is different. The fun of owning a dually continues...

bolt pattern should be the same

Well we were able to get it aligned today, came out right in spec, which is a relief as I didnt know how close it would get after building my own control arms amd such. Just pulling it off the rack now and havent driven it yet but should be good. The rim clamps just barely fit the 24's.
