I know this has been talked about a lot but has anyone sucessfully shortened the axles on the hardbody or frontier? I know you can swap to a mazda or 4X4 toyota rear and keep the 6 lug and narrow it easier. I just want to keep the stock speed sensor plus not have to buy another rearend. The problem with the nissan axles is that they taper in after the splines plus the splines are rolled in not milled. I need to shorten the rear by almost 10".
