widest tire... 73-87.

i have gone through all the members rides trying to find a pro-street style truck.

i would like to know the widest tire i can fit under my 86 chevy truck without moving my leaf springs to the inside. im going for the pro-street look for awhile. btw,the rear of the truck is lowered about 9".

just crawl under it with a tape meassure and get from the inside of the bed to your leaf, subtract like 1/2"-1" from each side so there is no rubbing and you will have your width.

i had a 12 1/2" micket thompson on mine when it was pro streeted. had to trim the fender but it fit
