I have a 94 mazda 5 speed b2300...

i was driving it yesterday and i noticed that the clutch was very sensitive and i didnt have to pull my foot out as mutch for it to engage so that was a little odd to me, so this morning i get in and start it and i noticed the clutch pedal was very soft, so i started it and i went to put it in reverse and it just grinded very badly... it wouldnt even shift into first... so i looked at the firewall and i noticed that the rubber hose that goes from the resorviour to the unit was busted,, so i replaced it and it still doesnt shift... any ideas??? do i need to bleed it? thanks for the advice guys!

you have to bleed it after changing the line and refilling it.

It basically bleeds like a brake caliper. You, or a buddy pump the clutch and with the pedal depressed, you open the bleeder on the clutch slave cylinder. Repeat the process until all air is removed. I had some problems with my clutch system on my truck and ended up replacing the clutch resivor and the slave cylinder both.
