well if youve seen my mazda you know im a big wheel guy. the thing is i just got a s10. ex cab its bagged and lays frame on 22's. the thing is i want the WOW factor that my mazda has but on an s10. i dont want to body drop it im not a fan of bent or drug off rockers. plus you have 3 more inchs for wheels to fit in there. so my question. will a 275/25/26 tire fit under the hood. or hell a 305/30/26? im not sure on the overall height of these tires thats why im wondering. i will swap to blf uniball upper and lowers as well as there no notch ends even though im already notched i know the tie rods will go higher. i have a sd 5link on it now. i will have to make new plates for the lift bars and im sure my notch is big enough. anyone have any clue??
the 5-link wishbone will have to be redone atleast and with the short ass forward bars it would pull the wheel way forward I am running 22's on mine with a 5-link and the wheel is way off center.
Don't plan on driving on a 275/25/26. Do some research and look at the tire on a wheel. To much camber on you'll set the lip of the wheel on the ground.....I say stick with a meaty 24 before you put a band that small on a 26. An undrivable custom truck is just an expensive paper weight....

that is a very very true statement. ive built my mazda with the intent to drive it. im running 255/30/24 toyo's on it. i think 305/30/26's look good. they give it a bit of a sidewall advantage. i have 255/30/22 falkens on it now and they are 28 inchs overall. i moved the 5 link back 1 inch from the specs sd gave me. i did that just for the driveshaft issue. but if i do a bigger wheel i will just get a fuel cell and run a long tri 4 link as well with the lift bars.
so if im thinking right the 255/30/22 is 28inchs tall and the 305/30/26 is 33.5 if i round it up. it would only actually be a 2.75" difference that the suspension would have to travel up. its only actually 5.5" overall bigger then the 22. so im thinking the uniballs would be able to travel that much further. its laying with the shitty ass fbi arms now. i dont think ill have as much chamber as my mazda. but im not 100%. heres a mazda picture to show that sweet ass chamber i got on the dawg.
Do it!, I think the problem is lift. Alll trucks have camber all the way down. You might have to ride donk down the road....then drop that shit and fold those wheels under the fenders!
Bad ass... just like your mazda, that thing is sick!
damn mucho money, go for it, but if you remember little shops red s10 ext on 24's they touched the top of the fenders laid out, with sd arms, and those were really small tires too
