russ-d where are you when i need you?

hey i have a 91 b2000 i got a motor out of a 87 i swapped the harness out to the 87 since the motors are different from the 86-87 to the 88-93 so before motor would crank with the different sensor and now i put the right harness in and im not getting anything where can i fidn a good wiring harness online i have the chiltons but they have te 84's not a good diagram for the 87's. i got rid of the emissions stuff threw the weber and i have a header . at the column the 2 wires one is black with white stripe and other is black and yellow in the chilton it listes them right commin off the signal light switch and once it gets to the firewall they switch connectors so the black and white is on the connector with the black and yellow. make any sence? liek they swap wires further in te harness. any help will do thanks

all you have to do is check the wires with a test light there should be 1 thats hot all the time and 1 when the key is turned all the way to the start should be hot thats the one that goes to the starter if those arent hot then there not coming in from the battery
