I have a 4.3 vortec in my 2000 Blazer. I bought a 16" fan at a local auto parts store. The temp is running a little higher than before with the belt driven fan. I have seen some s10's with electric fans on here but can't get a good look at them. Any help and pics would be greatly appreciated..

run dual fans, run a temp sensor to them.

what size? someone told me to install a Ford Taurus fan cause it has a higher fan speed. I also just wired a toggle switch inside on the dash so i could cut it on and off. But the few times i have ran the truck, i cut it on as soon as i start the engine. it is mounted on the motor side and its setup to pull air through.

That Taurus fan is a good fan. However, you need to wire it up correctly. Get yourself two relays. One for the temp sensor and the other for a manual switch (optional). Dual fans are a good idea too a stated above. Do a search on the subject for set ups and wiring diagrams. Good luck!
