milling down 22.5's to 22's

What is the correct size for the tire bead? Is it 22" on the dot or bigger?

Just figured it out!! I'm stupid!!!!

I have a regular Alcoa style 22.5 front wheel. The face side of the wheel is very thick and I don't see a problem in turning it down. On the inside bead there is not much material there for turning!? I know people have been doing this for years will it be safe? Do I have the wrong type of wheel?

I don't know if your stepping on toes per say but I do know you are not gonna get much info on this particular subject.

Those who have the expertise on Semi wheel mods are keeping this information very close to the chest for business reasons which is understandable in my opinion.
