laying out a Chevy Silverado on 24s, need info

Whats up guys, just figured out I can have my 24" billet wheels re-drilled to fit on my 05 chevy silverado.

my question is how hard will it be to lay out (on frame) an 05 chevy silverado?

what would this take? any help is apprecaited.

Upper and Lower control arms,spindles,hydra boost set up,tubbed firewall,and alot of work

i agree on everything except the hydro boost. it can be done without it. you need the upper and lowers and spindles and tubs. mines bodydropped on 24's without hydroboost.

you can lay a 24 with just the spindle and stock arms. if you raise the upper and run the spindle to correct the camber it will clear....offset will be a BIG part in this as well.....any of the above answers will work too. its a time against budget battle basically

yea im thrilled when i decided to just get 24's when i destroyed my 22's.. didnt think of the extra work to lay it out... good thing i got all winter to make money so i can do it up...

since were on the topic... what arms are you guys running???????

Im using ART uppers and lowers with McGaughys spindles. I love them to death. Ive been driving them daily for 2 years with no problems at all. I installed a set of the Choppin Block arms on a customers truck about 3 months ago with stock spindles, and he likes them too... They are both good products... As for the hydro boost mentioned above, I put one in mine, but it was because I run a 10" wide wheel. It all depends on your offset and width.

A good starting point would be:
-Uppers and lower control arms
-spindles if you want it easier
-Tub the firewall
-relocate fuse box, and coolant tank
-hydroboost if using wide wheels

As for the back, just make sure the notch is big enough and pick a kit or build one. My KP kit layed on 24's like a champ and rides great.

even if you if you run into a situation where a hydroboost would be needed, you can move your stock booster out and in toward the motor. thats what we did with my bros truck, his hit with 22s on a 9.5 wheel with a +50 offset, works just fine.

50mm offset holyyyyyyy crap where u find them fuckers... hard enough trying to find wheels over 35-40 to clear the back
