phantom grille for 88 toyota

I got an 88 toyota pickup that I wanted to put a phantom grille on but can't seem to find one for it. So my question is will the later model(89-95, i believe) bolt right up or will it have to modify it to fit? is it the same size and if it fits will i need to recess the lights in?

did you check with TRENZ ? or FBI ?

I'm surprised that nobody offers one anymore. Have you tried FBI? The have their own CNC I believe. Maybe they would still be able to cut you one, I would imagine they would still have the programing and jigs to build one for you. If you have never driven with a phantom before be aware that they kind kill your night time driveability. My friends nissan has one and I love how it looks but I hate riding in his truck after dark. yea he does have a point, the phantom i had in my yota covered bout half my headlights (you figuire if you were to stack the bars that covered the headlights it would cover bout half the light) I drove most of the time with my high beams on and didnt have any issues

i had a phantom on my 87 and also a 94 grille on it at one time as far as shape it'll be pretty similar but may mount a lil different

so if i use a 89-95 phantom grille, since I can't find the one for mine, will i need to recess the lights or will it be okay they in the stock location?
