Pistols and ammo

picked up my new pistol at work today. I got a Kimber Tactical Custom 45 ACP. Gave $600 for it the case and some extra clips. Curious as to what everyone else carries, and ammo you prefer.

Hoping to pick up my brothers SKS, when he ships off to the Navy.

my favorite 2 that i have is springfield xd .45 acp and of course my colt 1911a .45 as far as ammo, i like the federal hydrashocks or speer gold dots. just sold my hk 45 so i can go out & buy the new springfield xdm 40s&w also love my smith & wesson 44mag. the only one i actually carry though is the xd45.

I've been shooting the speer. The guy I bought it from gave me a box. Do you have any lights or sights? I'm looking for a tatical light for mine.

I looked at a XD 45 in a pawn shop. I liked the feel of it.

xd .40 subcompact, and my carry ammo is speer gold dots and winchester fmj alternated. I know you guys think "why the fmj? just keep the hollows" but when i took the concealed carry class, one of the things the instructor said that made sense was "what if i have to shoot through a car? Hollow points are worthless. This way, every other shot does what i need it to do". I also have TFO night sights and the guide rod laser. I love it.

Ordered a fobus evolution roto holster. I want a set of kimber lazer grips. Those B!tches are sweet!

i carry a s&w air weight 357- and i have a couple of others
sig sauer p229 9mm, and a llama minmax 45-
i have some other "toys" that i like- those id rather keep on the dl!

just got my first gun yesterday. it was my dads that he bought new... its a firestar plus 9mm with a high capacity clip. im taking my ccw class on Dec 7th...
