go to your local junk yard and get some junk doors to make patch panels.. Then hit your local jobber and get some smc glue. The panels are smc and requires a special glue. Then its just a matter of cutting fillers, gluing them in, and mudding as needed..

the panels and plastic not smc. if they were smc you could just fiberglass them, but i would get a used door skin for filler panels. i do believe they make a specific glue for plastic bumpers etc(u gota have an automix gun tho). just make sure you prime it first with waterborne primer.

I'd go buy a door skin, some drywall tape (the tape that you mud over), go to the parts store get some 3M 8115 two part, and some bondo or glaze, and go to town. Cut out a filler piece like you would for steel doors and put some tape on one side, lay down the drywall tape on the opposite and use a putty spreader to spread the 8115 over the tape. Let it cure overnight and do the same to the other side, let it sit overnight as well. The next day, take a DA and some 40 grit to sand it smooth, then run some glaze and finess it to be ready for primer. Before primer make sure you use adhesive promoter and then spray. That is the best and strongest way to save plastic handles. Fiberglass won't stick as well as people would think.

I agree with the waterborne, or my preff is use UV primer (no adhesion promoter) other wise it will wrinkle and/or lift everytime. I need to recheck the number, but fuzor or duramix has a plastic bond that will work, but again, you need an automix gun
