Alright can anyone explain to me the easiest way possible to install a lexan window in my ranger? It doesnt seem like it would be to hard, but i think i should be able to do it myself without having to take it someone else.

My next question is, i bought some original caddy tail lights, and I have not started the installation on them yet, but before i do, i need help with hooking them up. Do i need to buy a new wire harness for the tail lights, or is there a way i can hook them to the stock wires? Any suggestions or answers will help

I can't help on the window, but...

Check out one if the LED taillight suppliers, many of them have converters that allow you to use your stock wiring with a 2 filament taillight. Because most newer cars have several circuits, quite often the converter is needed.

Is that what you were asking about?

the window is pretty easy if you already have the solid rear glass, then the molding you have will work. If you have a sliding back window you need to buy a molding for a solid window. The window is easy to install, I wrap a piece of 1/8th or 1/4 inch rope in a channel in the molding. spray either some silicone spray or windex around the whole molding, have a friend hold it up to the opening from the outside. You grab the rope and start pulling, it will pull the molding in, then just work it around. Laying the molding out in the sun for a few hours will help soften it a little and make it easier to work with.

hope that helps, I had a lexan window in my 97 ranger and had to do this a few times thanks to cheap door poppers!!
