alright guys hopefully someone can give me some info. i got a 99 silverado that has djm upper and lowers. im replacing the balljoints and the lowers were no problem. i bought a set of stock replacements for the top and they don't fit. the funny thing is they fit fine in the djm arm. they bolt right up but they wont fit in the stock spindle. whats up with that. if anything i would have thought they'd fit in the spindle and not in the arm. but they fit in the arm and not the spindle. the hole in the spindle is a little to small for the balljoint to fit in. anybody know what i can do? theres gotta be something i can do. it doesn't make sense?????????

Have you tried DJM to see if they can help? Not trying to be an ass or anything, just might be the quickest way to get it solved.

Ya i tried that the only things that they sent that fit were the lower balljoints. i had to modify the upper arm bushings and the upper joints were way off. they're definately djm arms. i've used them in the past. i must of got a moron at djm or something. i dunno. the balljoint i have is just a hair to wide to fit in the spindle. it will go in just doesn't go in far enough. maybe a spindle reamer or something might help. just dont know how or where to get one.

"The hole must be enlarged with a rat-tail file to fit the DJM ball joint bolt which has slightly larger tread."

I GOT THIS OFF THE DJM WEBSITE
ITS JUST THE VERY END OF THE TAPER THAT IS TOO SMALL RIGHT?

THIS SHOULD FIX IT
