seth , i remember a while back i read a post ,where you mentioned a store you could buy all sorts of shims and spacers and stuff ,ive used them once , but cant find any of my shipping or billing info....could you please help me out tried google but no luck. thanks in advance.jay.

mcmaster carr was what i was looking for. i couldnt find what i needed i could have swore i saw them , but i guess not what im looking for is spacers,1/2 id ,3/4 long , they come with a tp watts link and are used to space the weld on tabs apart so you can get a good weld in between the tabs, if any one knows where i can order them from let me know. the ones i have seen are machined and i believe anodized black thanks

What kind of shims are you talking about? I have a catalogue at the shop from a company that makes 1000s of different kinds of washers and shims?

phil i looked at those and not quiet what i am looking for,the ones that i am looking for came with my totally polished watts link,im trying to find them for another project,basically they just go on both sides of a heim joint and space your weld on tabs further apart so you can weld both inside and outside of the tabs,without them a heim joint is so narrow you cant weld in between the tabs. ill try and take a pic of the ones i have.it looks a lot like a set screw shaft collar[part#9414T11],without the set screw, and 3/4 long jay.
