What did you all do to tuck these rims? like what control arms and front frame mods did you do? also what did you do to the rearend or what rearend you using?

the truck has all 4wd sheetmetal, including the bed. it has toyota front hubs and toyota rearend. the upper and lower control arms are stock mazda and stock toyota spindles. with the wheels being a +35mm offset, they'e basically like a fwd wheel. therefore they sit really close to the frame, avoiding fender clearance issues.

by far the most pain in the ass truck to load and unload. but it is hella sweet!

I this whiz's old truck?

correct mark.

the only thing done to the control arms is the uppers were pie cut, sectioned, and the balljoints moved so they didnt bind up when the truck cambered while laying out. the lowers are stock, not modified. and the spindles are stock toyota spindles, not modified.

Yes the truck did belong to Whiz....If you have ever seen the Georgia Freaks T-shirt that was made there is my car and the Mazda that did belong to Whiz at the time.

This truck holds alot of sentimental value between Whiz and myself. It was the first mini that I ever road in while dragging and thanks to Whiz for dragging through the leader hose; we made a joint decision to say screw it and drag the truck all the way to his drive way, while picking up road reflectors along the way.

This project will take some time completing (as funds are not the grand) but it's details will be inspired by many people and events that I have encountered over the years.

Stay tuned for more updates.......

FREAKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
