just picked up a clean astro and want to drop it , i can get spindels fairly cheap, arms are avalible as well but whos used what to bag the front / bagging the rear is a c notch / flip kit enough to lay flat on 20's/.i can get 20's cheap cos' the markets flooded and everyone needs bucks.help please.

ive got a 90 bodydropt. laying flat? u talkin bodied or just lowered but evenly. a flip kit will only lower an astro 4 inches. bags wont help because the leaf springs are monoleaf with no adjustment. basically u gotta go 2 or 4 link, c-notch bagged to lay out. springs and spindles will lower it 4 inches. i z'd the frame on mine with stock spindles to lay on 18s in front. 2-linked rear for 20s.

a-arms and spindles might not do 20s but 18s

to lay out on 20's you need to tub the front and the rear.

you cant go wrong with a 4-6 drop on 18s and a big ol sliding rag

ok thanks i knew about the z'ing the ft clip and a rear setion on the frame but the inside is what i was talking about the where to cut part.i'd like to lay rockers on 20's.

Dude you don't have to cut the whole floor.Just over the rear to do your bridge and 4 link...and tubs , front and rear...the main floor is high enough from the rockers that you do not nee to raise the entire floor
