Yeah this is 1 of 6 LeMans SD's built. and including this one there are only 2 known to be left. great barn find, funny that he had it up for sale for $500 originaly. He got an extra $226 000 for it. haha
anyone else see someone backing out of the buy? with no motor and soo much rust, its almost a lost cause to rebuild, defeating the whole "limited number" made. in any case, thats pretty damn amazing
LMAO that is no where close to a lost cause. with a correct restoration well into the 6 figures. this car could command well over 1 million dollars at auction. it is definetly not a "lost cause"
hey, that's the car that made the tire marks at the Sack 'o Suds, framing ralph macchio and that other dude in their 65 buick skylark for shooting the clerk in My Cousin Vinny! No wonder it went for so much!!
down at the bottom where it has questions/answers, someone said "looks like the high bidder has 0 feedback. good luck with that." and his response was "jay leno has high feedback." lol wonder if he was the one who bought it.
