Block your Bodywork with 180/220 ? meaning Filler work ? or first coat of primer .
This is a debate alot of bodyman could go back and fourth on . I will never sand Actual Rage Body filler over 80/120 grit before priming . Anything higher then 120 tends to not have enough bite to evenly sand the filler which leads to clogged paper on sanding strokes , which leads to low spots that were could have been prevented . I am also a perfectionist with my bodywork though .
Epoxy first , fix any areas that you know need filler work , primer truck , Black guide coat and block finding spots that need work later filling/glazing which can be sanded in this stage in a higher grit . Primer again/Black guide coat and block for base/clear . This is all done with little to no effort sanding . Head over to autobody101.com for tips on bodywork .
