How closely matched are the e-break and drive line connections between these two rear ends.

Currently I have a 85 Nessan Rear end that mesures 57" Looks like I will need to have my drive shaft shortend abit and posably a new yoke welded on if I can't find a mis-maching u-joint. and the e-stop break cables will need some work

Would the courier rear end use the same u-joint? how about the e-break cable?

I had one made. They used a Toyota yoke that they use when you put a V-8 in a Toyota. They turned it on the lathe and drilled new holes. Not sure on the E brake. I did discs on the back of mine with Isuzu trooper rotors and Isuzu Rodeo calipers held on by fabbed mounts that bolted to the original axle end bolts. I cut off the backing plate and had no e brake.

I was going to use a small motorcycle rotor and cliper mounted on the thrid member between the yoke and driveshaft. Then I would have used a fabbed mount in the cab with a regular e brake ratchet system to hold the brake.

The simple answer to your questions are:

Get the Toyota aftermarket yoke at a 4x4 place and get the driveshaft shop to make the new shaft. The E brake being close in years and the same manufacturer probably use a very similar style cable. You should be able to adapt it easily.

From what i've read the driveshaft and regular brake line will bolt right up.The e-brake will not however. Not a 100% sure just what I've read.
