I need some help. I got a 62 econoline van, and i wanna bag and body drop it, i have done s-10s and toyotas and other things, but this one has a straight axle under the front. Pebble pushers has a blue one done on 20's and 22's with an s-10 front clip, but i wanna retain the stock drive line. A guy the call hubert has one on google i found with stock driveline body dropped on 17's ans 20's. i dont know the link or how to put it up but if you google body dropped econoline van it is the first that pops up. Any help would be great. Appreciate it all.

make it simple and put it on an S-10 or S-10 Blazer chassis shortened or lengthened to whatever length you need. Mounts should be easy as well.

the s-10 frame was the first thought, but then i saw the one on the stock driveline, and loved it. The truck that you linked me too looks good but no where near my hight limits, my s-10 has the rockers cut off and two inches out the door so i love to be LOWWWWWW. i just need to know whats up, cause dude said he two linked the front and four linked the a$$. and it is body dropped 8 inches. thats the look im going for, but not wwanting to copy the dude in PP with his van on an s-10 frame, any help would be great, thanks guys for the replies as well. here is a link to the one i am talking about see what you think and i dont know how to post pics, so if someone could help me out i would appreciate it.

i have an econoline truck myself. I plan on either putting it on an S10 frame or having a custom frame built for it. We shall see.

And for what its worth, its not like you are biting the guys style if you use an s10 clip or full frame. I mean they use those on hot rods all the time. Its a means to an end, and frankly probably the best means to the end.

my .02 cents. And be sure and post up how you worked out the steering.

thats fucktasticly cool man. lovin it. guy i knew had a 59 VW 15 window bus. it wasnt bodied, but the whole rear drivetrain and suspension was raised way up, very tubbed up front. rolled around on like a 185/50/14 or something tiny. layd bumpers. roof was at around shoulder lever. so mid 50"s.

i talked to the owner of the rod shop here today and he was saying to two link the front pretty much like the guys did on that black one with the custom lin bars and all. he is 71 years old and loves this stuff. I just dont have the wallet to let him do it, and i love soing this stuff myself, but yeah the one that is bodied is phat. Let me know something, appreciate it all guys.
