hardbody frame info????

hey i got a 1986 hardbody frame for free and i was wondering if its the same as a newer hardbody frame;like the late 90's. i want to practice a stockfloor bodydrop and not tear a good frame apart. thanks

im pretty sure all the MAJOR components of the hardbody frame stayed the same until 1998 when the Frontier came out.
I know its not definite, but i hope it helps.

make sure the frame is the same model (std, xtra cab, long/short bed) as what you have. the frame mounting points are different, in case you want to use the free one to build your new mounts.
