My biggest pet peeve is so called "rock" or "metal" bands where it sounds like the singer's crying, that pisses me off so bad!!!!!(i.e. bother by stone sour, anything from stained after the first album, and anything at all ever by Nickleback)

Saw Ill Nino, Otep, Walls of Jericho, and a couple of other bands monday night, Ill Nino is definitely one of my fave bands right now, i've dug them since i first heard them in 99 or so.

if you know about hatebreed and unearth, i'm sure you've heard of Lamb of God. They kick ass also. you said you didnt like the screaming but should try out Deicide.

dude, it was cool, and don't get me wrong, i like the shit out of metallica, but i had more fun at ill nino. maybe the smaller venue, maybe cause i've seen metallica 4 times, maybe cause beer was $3 at ill nino and $7 at metallica, maybe cause i had to stand outside in 35 degree weather wearing shorts and a mechanic's shirt with no sleeves yesterday, maybe cause i got to meet every person in every band at the smaller show, i don't know but i definitely had more fun at ill nino.

the new All That Remains album is pretty badass (cd is Overcome)...just saw Avenged Sevenfold in concert Sunday...badass too...they do a good job covering Pantera's "walk"

i agree with brad, the new all that remains is rad. i have a bunch of their stuff. i will also agree that avenged sevenfold is cool, but nothing NEWER than waking the fallen.. boy they went to crap.
i saw Gojira play with 36 crazyfists and all that remains, they were sick (in flames was headlining but i wasn't stickin around for that).
