well i decided to go ahead and get a set of 2 door 4wd pathfinder quarter panels for the bed sides and that should cover my problem area resulting in not having to get a new bed since i cant afford to send my wheels to budnik to get rebuilt to the right offset, so basically ill kill 2 birds with 1 stone and save a little cash, im gettin my old 4wd fenders back as soon as i get the extra cash, so the front is covered....thanx for all the help and insite guy i really appreciate it, ill post as soon as i get the quarter panels and get ready to weld them in to get some info on how i should do it....

I dont know if this helps but when I did my rear fenders on my truck I got a punch/flanging tool from harbor freight . It allows you to flange the edge of bed side like 1/2 an inch so when u weld the two pieces together , you are welding one piece on top of the other , instead of trying to fill a gap between two pieces . The only problem I had was trying to make a curve . But I played with alot scrap pieces befor I did it on the truck to make sure it was right. Also when you flange the area its kinda like bead rolling the metal and stiffens the metal up alot. Im pretty cautious of the tools that i buy from Harbor Freight but this one was only 30$ and worth every penny.

ok ive got the 4x4 front fenders to grapht into the bedsides, i can see pretty much how to do it except 1 thing....how would i go about getting them to match up or blend into the lower bedside or rockers.....
