I was thinking about getting the KP components rear kit with Watts linkdoes anyone have any insite on how well this kit is put together?

I used to have it on my 2001 ford f-150 but it would put alot of stress on the frame and TWIST the frame if it didnt have cross bars.

how is the kit for the 2005 chevy silverado?

I have the exact setup on mine. I have used it for 3 years as a daily and put about 40,000miles on it with no problems. Shocks are just now about to go, but thats normal wear and tear. It's a great setup if you want simplicity and ease of instalation with a great ride.

KP is way overpriced. You can make the same set-up for less than half of what they have it priced. You just have to use your brain to measure and locate everything properly.

will the KP kits "front and rear" put the truck on frame on 22s?

price dosent matter to me, its all about convenience factor at the moment, i would build my own kits but at this point its easier for me to buy a good kit to lay frame.

well, to each their own. I understand. I was just trying to help keep prices down, but if cost don't matter, go for the KP..

Up front, mine is on ART arms, mcgaguys drop spindles, tubbed firewall, relocated wiring harness, fuse block and coolant reservoir, and a KP tranny crossmember. and it lays flat on a 22 or a 24 with a decent size tire. I agree that the KP kits have gotten real pricey since Chassisworks took them over, but give them a call and talk to Clint. he'll get you set up.
